What I tried

A lighter lab-note renderer that can hold experiments, short failures, and next steps without inheriting essay polish or research ceremony.

What I did

Mapped the global shell decisions into a route-backed archive system, then tested where the design needed a different surface for active experimentation.

What broke

The writing system risked collapsing essays and process notes into one polished lane, which would have hidden uncertainty instead of labeling it.

What I learned

Lab notes need faster orientation, clearer experiment framing, and more obvious next-step language than essays do.

Connect the route surface to live lab-note entries once public content starts shipping from Supabase.
